Happy Halloween!

My mom came to visit and I still can't believe it had almost been 2 years since I last saw her.  Too, too long.  We had a great visit and she got to know our newest, little Zuri Jane. 

Chelsea and Mom were both here for Halloween, so we all got to get dressed up and what a circus we were.  Emmy as the Queen.  Brenner as Spiderman.  Zuri as Snow White.  And the adults had some fun with masks.

Bates Nut Farm

When I think of October and pumpkin patches, I automatically think of pony rides.  They just go hand in hand.  We went to several pumpkin patches around town and not one of them had ponies.  So I heard about this place not too far away called Bates Nut Farm, and oh yes, they had ponies!  It was a fun afternoon filled with animals, tractor rides, and oversized blow-up slides.  Now, this is what October is supposed to look like.

A Little Of September and October

Some highlights from the last few months:

Zuri had her first bath, given by Aunt Chelsea and watched closely by Brenner.

 Sky and Liz came for a visit.
            Our trip to La Jolla

We celebrated sweet Emberlyn's birthday with ice cream cake and a trip to the beach, of course.

And Zuri keeps on growing.

We went to the pumpkin patch in October.
